Here is the information for our 1st official 2023 meet!

The busses will be leaving Corona at 6am SHARP. All athletes are expected to arrive at school by 5:45am. We will not wait for athletes who arrive late!

All athletes are expected to ride the bus to the meet. Parents may take their kids home, however they must check out wuth either Coach Crane or Coach TAC. Athletes may ONLY be checked out by a parent or legal guardian. Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, friends etc are not allowed to take Athletes home after a meet. This is due to District policy.

We have very little daylight when we start at 7pm and do not want Athletes to trip and fall.

Parent Volunteers Needed

Thank you to all the parents who have stepped up to volunteer and help support our athletes! We still have some open positions. Please consider one of the following volunteer opportunities to support the team this season.

• Food & Beverage Coordinators: Coordinate snacks and drink items for each meet. Reimbursed for purchases with receipt. (1-2 people)

• Desert Twilight Coordinators: Plans and coordinates extra food items, organizes additional equipment needs, picking up pre-ordered food and arrives early for set up.

Our annual Aztec XC time trial will be 6am this Saturday morning. I will attach the coordinates at the end of this email. If you enter them in Google maps, they will direct you there.

We WILL NOT meet at Corona for the time trial.

The time trial is 2 miles, it does not determine JV or Varsity. It is a gauge for coaches to see where we are at as a team. Parents are welcome to attend, however it is not the best place to watch athletes run, as the trial is an out and back on Warner Canal.

We should be done between 7:15 and 7:30.
