News and Announcements

Hello Parents!

We will be holding our first Booster Club meeting on Monday, May 22nd @ 6pm at Barro’s on Kyrene/Warner. Please come join us as we plan our upcoming 2023 season. We look forward to seeing you!

Parents/Athletes,
Shutterfly will be shutting down it shared photo site in March. We have been using that site for our cross country photo sharing (for many years). If there are pictures you would like of your athlete, please make sure to download prior to March. You can get to the site by clicking on Links.

We are only halfway to our required 20 XC runner volunteers for the Mesa Marathon coming up NEXT Saturday, Feb. 4th. Our team consisted of more than 50 runners, so we should be able to meet this number! We also need a couple more parents to join as well. For a few short hours of our time, the team will earn $1500 for next season. As runners, we should not hesitate to give back to the running community. This is a great opportunity!

Please let David Rice (Brody’s Dad), d.rice@outlook.com, know ASAP and he will send out the final details about carpooling and more.

Calling all distance runners!

We will be volunteering again at the Mesa Marathon on Saturday, Feb. 4th at Mile 4.5 aid station. We need a MINIMUM of 20 volunteers to fill cups, hand out water & Gatorade to the runners and clean up after. The more the merrier as it gets hectic when the bulk of the runners come through the aid station. The morning goes by quickly and before you realize, the runners are onto the next aid station and you are done.

For our time from 5:45 -8:10 am the team will get $1500, which covers all of our race entries for the 2023 season!

We want the 20 spots to be filled by XC runners with a few parents to help out with carpooling and supervising. This is a great opportunity for those kids who need volunteer hours (especially the juniors and seniors). Seniors, this is your chance to leave your legacy to the runners you have been mentoring these past years!

Please let David Rice (Brody’s Dad), d.rice@outlook.com, know your interest and he will send out the final details about carpooling and more. There is no age limit, so younger siblings are welcome to join! This is a great opportunity to give back to the running community!!
