Go Aztecs!

Hello All!

We are super proud of our Aztecs who competed in the 3k race this past weekend!

We have a modification to our Tuesday and Thursday practices. We are going to be starting practice at 6:45 PM. This way we will not lose light when we are doing a workout. Please make sure you are at Corona at 6:45 PM sharp! We’ll be leaving for hanger park at that time tomorrow.

Practice should be done no later than 8:30 PM on these evenings.

GO AZTECS!!!!

Boosters will be providing breakfast for athletes after the race.

Low-key, grass-roots, relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy some summer running and challenge yourself in a different way. Explore the varied terrain you’ll find in cross country and trail running, including rocky dirt trails, grass and some sidewalk. Timing clock, results posted shortly thereafter. Top 3 in each 10 year age group will be recognized after race, so stick around for a bit.

Pick up bib numbers 5:30-6:00 AM. Check-in at start line 10 minutes prior to race for any last-minute instructions. 3k race starts at 6:15 AM.

The park itself has limited facilities, which are sometimes open early in the morning and sometimes not. Please plan accordingly. The closest business is McDonalds, which borders the park to the northeast. Across the street is a Safeway.
