2. Register my Athlete is due by this Monday. Practice next week will be MWF 3:00-5:00ish. Tu,Thur 6:30pm-8:00pm-ish.

3. The time trial race is this Saturday at Desert Foothills Park 1010 Marketplace Way SW, Phoenix, AZ 85048.

No Athletes said they needed a ride, so we will meet at the park at 5:45.

We will be using a local race for a time trial this Saturday practice. Our booster club has graciously offered to pay our Athlete’s entry fee. We will meet at Corona this Saturday at 5:15am for those who want to carpool. If you want to drive yourself or parents drive you, that’s ok as well. There is no need to register for the meet, we will do it for you. If you are driving yourself or your parents are taking you please get to the meat no later than then 545. also, wear Corona gear or something Orange to represent our team.Here is the information for the meet. FOOTHILLS 3K SUMMER SERIES #3 

When: Saturday, August 7 at 6:15 AM

Where: Desert Foothills Park 1010 Marketplace Way SW, Phoenix, AZ 85048 

Cost: $20 per person

Prizes: Top runner in each 10 year age group, as well as top male and top female. $50 cash prize to whomever breaks the overall course record or Masters’ record.

The 2021 Corona del Sol XC season officially begins next Monday, August 9th!

Athletes need to be cleared on www.registermyathlete.com by NEXT MONDAY (08/09). All Athletes are required to get a physical this season. Some Athletes may have a valid physical depending on when their last one was. The physical was waived last season due to Covid. If an Athlete is not fully cleared by Monday the 9th, they WILL NOT be allowed to practice with the team. If you need help or have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Coach TAC or Coach Crane. Please DO NOT wait until the last minute to complete this!!!!

Practice Schedule Reminder:

-Practice will be at 6:30pm at Corona all this week.

-Starting next week (08/09) practice will be M,W,F, 3:00pm. Tu and Thur will be at 6:30pm. We will continue this schedule until the weather cools down, then we will be at 3:30 every day. Saturday workouts will remain at 5:30 am, unless told otherwise.

Saturday – 5:30am Papago Park.

Our season officially starts on Monday August 9th 3:00pm at Corona!
