Kyrene Athletics is closing out their Cross Country season with the Conference Meet on Thursday, April 8. Conference will be at Pueblo Middle School with the races starting at 4:15 pm. We are looking for at least 10 volunteers to help with the meet (course monitors, clean-up, etc.). Many Corona Athletes have come through the Kyrene middle school athletic program. This is a great opportunity to give back and to encourage these middle school runners to keep running. If interested, please be at Pueblo (360 S Twelve Oaks Blvd, Chandler, AZ 85226) by 4 pm. Wear Corona orange or black shirts. Masks are required. Pueblo Coach will sign volunteer hours for those who need hours.

Corona del Sol Cross Country is excited to be able to offer our 2021 Aztec High Altitude Training Camp in Flagstaff, June 24-27. Details are still being worked on with Northern Arizona University.

The Aztec High Altitude Training Camp is an opportunity to run in cooler temperatures, hang out with teammates, learn more about running, and just have fun!

Camp includes: guest speakers, daily meals (3), camp t-shirt, and lodging.

In person racing is coming back and we have the opportunity to earn money for our team by providing volunteers at the upcoming Rugged Maniac Phoenix race on Saturday, May 22 at Wildhorse Pass. For each volunteer, we will earn $10 by giving our time to the running community. We need at least 40 volunteers to sign up for Saturday morning. The more volunteers, the more we earn as a team. Deadline for sign-up is Monday, May 10th. For us to receive the $10/person, we must have all 40 volunteers. This is an easy way for us to earn money for our team; no selling or soliciting family or friends.
