Aztec High Altitude Training Camp
Registration is now open for our Aztec High Altitude Training Camp at NAU. The dates are Sunday, July 21st – Wednesday, July 24th. Come run in the cool pines of Flagstaff, hear interesting speakers, and bond with your teammates through fun activities. The early-bird cost is $260 if paid before May 31st. The cost then goes up to $280, so get your registration in soon! Forms can be found on our website www.coronaxc.teampages.com under “Documents”.

Booster Board Members Needed
We are still in need of a Secretary and a VP of Fundraising for the upcoming season. The secretary is responsible for taking notes at meetings and putting out the weekly newsletter during the season. The VP of Fundraising is the main contact person for setting up restaurant nights. The position also assists in gaining sponsors, however, this is shared with other members of the board. Please contact Kristi Johnson at kristijohn@hotmail.com if you are interested in either of these positions. Thank you!

We are heading North to NAU for our Aztec High Altitude Training Camp once again this year. The dates are Sunday, July 21st through Wednesday, July 24th. All continuing team members and incoming freshmen or new cross country runners are welcome to come. The cost is $260 before May 31st, then the price goes up to $280. That price includes lodging, meals, camp t-shirt, guest speakers and lots of fun! Campers will be responsible for their own transportation to and from NAU, however, we anticipate having many carpools available.

This camp is for athletes to prepare for the upcoming cross country season. Participants should be training regularly for at least a month prior to coming to camp. Information on the summer running program will be coming soon.

Registration forms are attached to this email and can also be found on our website, www.coronaxc.teampages.com. Please contact Kristi Johnson with any questions – kristijohn@hotmail.com.

Booster Members Needed!

Posted by Corona Del Sol Cross Country at Apr 22, 2019 8:20PM PDT

Hello Cross Country Families! We are starting to plan out the next cross country season, including our summer camp. Our goal is to get more parents involved this year. With a large group of helpers, the workload is spread out and very manageable. We are currently in need of two board positions – Secretary and VP of Fundraising. We will also need help in the following areas:

Camp planning
Social activities – pool party and pasta dinners
Fundraising – helping to secure sponsors and planning restaurant nights
Banquet committee
Merchandise – ordering t-shirts and other items
Snacks/Towels at meets

Please consider giving some of your time this season. Many of these jobs can be split between 2-3 people to lighten the load. If you would like to help in any of these area, please contact Kristi Johnson at kristijohn@hotmail.com. Thank you!
