End of Season Banquet
The banquet is this Thursday at 6pm in the Corona cafeteria. We can still use some volunteers to help with set up, serving, clean up. The sign up link is https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c044eaea723a46-donations2. Thank you to those of you who have volunteered already!

Nike Cross on Saturday
The Nike Cross Meet is on Saturday morning at the Grande Sports Complex in Casa Grande. THERE IS NO BUS – ATHLETES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING THEIR OWN RIDE TO AND FROM THE MEET. If an athlete needs a ride, there are generally opportunities to carpool. The girls run at either 8:51 or 9:03. The boys run at 9:51 or 10:03.

Most athletes already picked up their race singlet and t-shirts at practice last week. If you did not receive yours, they will be available for pickup at the banquet. Remember that you must have your race waiver signed, scanned and emailed back to Nike before the race. The hard copy goes to Coach Smith (TAC). Hot Chocolate Race Volunteering
We still need 19 volunteers by next Monday or we do not fulfill our commitment. This has been a team tradition for several years and we have always been able to provide the 50 volunteers necessary. We earn $500 for the team for our time, which helps pays for t-shirts or snacks/beverages for the athletes. We would hate to lose this source of income. Please consider volunteering a few short hours of your time at this fun event (we are generally done by 9:30). You get a great sweatshirt for volunteering and we will feed you too! There is a mandatory meeting on Friday, Nov. 9th if you are planning to run in the Nike Cross Meet on the 17th. You must fill out a waiver in order to participate in the meet.

Tomorrow is the last day to register for the November 15th banquet. We have very few people registered right now, and that is what we go off of to order food. If you do not register by tomorrow, we may not have food for you. Go to the “Banquet Registration” tab on the website to register and pay. Remember, athletes eat for free, and guests are $10 per person.

State Meet

Individuals MUST park at Thunderbird H.S or Mountain Sky Middle school and take shuttle to the site.

CASH ONLY!
State Meet: $10.00 Adults, $5.00 Students with High School ID
The admission price includes the shuttle to and from the Golf Course and entrance into the event.
Admission tickets can be purchased at North Hills Church or Thunderbird High School.
Walk-ups can pay at either the main golf course gate entrance or the 9th tee box entrance.
Due to the high volume of traffic on 19th Avenue it is highly recommended to use the shuttle service
provided.

Banquet – Deadline approaching
The deadline to register and pay for the banquet is Thursday, Nov. 8. If you have not registered and paid by this date, you we cannot guarantee food. You can register and pay on the team site under the “Banquet Registration 2018”
