AIA Division I Sectionals
Our varsity runners will be competing at sectionals this Wednesday at Crossroads Park in Gilbert. The girls run at 1:10 and the boys at 1:45. Good luck Aztecs!

Practices/Nike Cross
Non-varsity runners at still welcome to practice and stay in shape for the Nike Cross Meet on November 17th if they are planning to run in it. Singlets and t-shirts will be handed out at the banquet for those who said they were running.

Banquet Registration
Our year end banquet is scheduled for Thursday, November 15th at 6pm in the Corona Cafeteria. All athletes eat for free and guests are $10. Please remember to RSVP and pay (if guests are coming) for the banquet by November 8th so we can order the correct amount of food. There is a Banquet Registration tab on the home page of the website where you can RSVP and pay online with a credit/debit card. You may also RSVP online and pay with a check or cash offline. Directions are on the website and the form that was handed out last week at practice.

Hot Chocolate Volunteers still needed!!

We have worked at one of the water stations for the past several years and we have made a commitment to have 50 volunteers there, and Corona Cross Country earns $10 per volunteer. Tempe City Meet
Student will be released from class tomorrow at 1:00pm. The bus will depart school at 1:30pm. Race times can be found at https://www.athletic.net/CrossCountry/meet/154704/info. Go Aztecs!

Banquet Registration
Information went home from practice today for our November 15th banquet. (It is also attached to this email). We ask that all athletes RSVP online, even if you are not attending. ALL ATHLETES EAT FOR FREE. Additional guests are $10 each. Payment can be made online with a credit/debit card or with cash/check following the directions on the form. We do need all responses and payments in by Nov. 8th so that we can order the proper amount of food. Look for the “Banquet Registration” tab on the website, www.coronaxc.teampages.com.

As we get close to the end of the year, please remember you (and family and friends) can designate your tax credit towards Corona Cross Country.

We are in need of board members for next year. Positions open are VP Fundraising, VP Team Support, Secretary. We also have a variety of other jobs through the season. We have a meeting on Thursday, October 18 at 5pm at the Starbucks on the SE corner of Ray/Rural. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. We need help planning the banquet and filling positions for next year. Come get involved and support our team!

City Meet, October 25
The city meet is on Thursday, Oct. 25 at Kiwanis Park. Race times are not available yet, but it’s usually mid-afternoon. Freshman, Open, and Varsity Levels will run.
