We have an opportunity to staff a food tent at Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 12, from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (the late shift). In consideration of our volunteers, Oktoberfest will make a donation to the booster club.

The Armijos have graciously offered to head up this effort. We know that this is during fall break and also on a holiday for some, but we are looking for additional athletes and a couple of additional parents to volunteer. We need a total of 15 and we have 3 right now.

Since both entities are nonprofits, athletes can also log volunteer hours. Tempe Sister Cities is a great local organization and this might be a good way for students to learn about the exchange program.
