Team picture day will be next Thursday October 27th at 3 PM. Please bring your uniforms as you will be turning them in after pictures unless you are running at sectionals.

Hopefully everyone has been enjoying their weekend with the rain, clouds and fall like temperatures! This upcoming week does not have any activities except regular practices for varsity athletes and all other runners who still want to join their teammates.

Titan Invite:
Thursday was a beautiful morning for a race and the teams did great! The course is very spectator friendly so lots of opportunities to cheer our runners on. Cheers to the boys team for their second place finish! Congratulations to ALL the athletes who ran this year! Everyone should be proud of their accomplishments.

Banquet:
It is almost that time again for the end of season banquet. It will take place on Saturday, November 5th from 10 am – noon at Arrowhead Park, Lion Pavilion in Chandler. It is a brunch with breakfast burros, fruit, fresh made mini-donut (mini-food truck on site), and more. Everyone is welcome to attend whether eating or not. All athletes eat for free. Like last year, senior athletes are able to bring two guests for free. Cost for guests is $12/pp. More information and signup can be found here at the 2022 Banquet Brunch Registration. Please RSVP no later than Monday, October 31st to allow us to get an accurate headcount.

Upcoming:
Tuesday, October 25th — Kyrene School District Cross Country Conference Meet at Pueblo Middle School. First race is 4:15 pm. Come cheer on and encourage these middle school runners. We are looking for a course biker for the races. If volunteer hours are needed, this would be a great way to get some. If interested in helping at the meet, please let Coach Tac or Crane know. Additionally, volunteer hours can be had if you help pick up the course at the end of the meet.
Wednesday, November 2rd — Sectional Race at Crossroads Park, varsity runners only. Details TBD.
Saturday, November 5th — Banquet, details above.
Saturday, November 12th — State Meet, Details TBD.
Saturday, November 19th — Nike Cross — optional race for the athletes. Boosters support the entry fee into the race as well as provide singlets for the racers.

Booster Club:
There are still three positions open for the 2023 season. Please consider joining the Booster Club. Positions available are President, Secretary and Fundraiser.
