Chandler Invite
Congratulation to the athletes on a great meet! All that hard work is paying off! Thank you to the many volunteers who brought the bagels, brought and handed out the cold towels, sold merchandise, took pictures and cheered on our kids. We really appreciate all the help! Pasta Dinner
Thank you to the Hart Family for hosting our first team dinner! It was a fun event with about 40 kids there. We hope to get the whole team to the next one. Thank you to our volunteers who shopped, cooked and served – you were awesome!! Tax Credit Donation
Please consider giving a tax credit donation to Corona Cross Country. This money is used to pay 2 of our coaches and pay for the athletes’ banquet dinner. Go to https://www.tempeunion.org/domain/72 for more information and the links to the online donation site and paper forms. Thank you!

Team Pasta Dinner at the Hedberg’s home on Friday, September 14th from 6-8pm. The address will be emailed out next week.

Athletes, you need to be at school by 5:45am at the latest on Saturday. The buses will be leaving at that time, and if you are not on the bus, you will not compete! (The exception being anyone who made prior arrangements with the coaches and athletic director). The buses should be back at school by 10:30 or 11:00am. Parents, please be on time to pick up your athlete from school as the coaches will have to wait with them.

We have some extra t-shirts to sell at the meet ($10), and hopefully some car decals too ($5). Stop by the bright orange Corona tents to check out the merchandise. We would love to have some volunteers hand out cold towels at the end of the race. If you can help out at the race before or after your child runs, please stop by the tent to volunteer. You can also help by taking photos and uploading to our Shutterfly share site.

Athletes, don’t forget the team pasta dinner on Friday night. It is from 6 to 8pm at the Hart’s home. If you did not receive the email with the address, please contact Kristi at kristijohn@hotmail.com for the address.

Team Pasta Dinner
The team pasta dinner will be held at the Hart’s home (please contact Kristi Johnson for address – kristijohn@hotmail.com) on Friday, 8/31, from 6pm-8pm.

Chandler Invite – Saturday, 9/1
The coaches will let the kids know what time to be at the bus on Saturday. For first time parents, please visit What to Expect at a XC Meet on the team website. We can use help at the meet taking pictures and handing out cold towels. Come to the bright orange tents to see how you can help out.

Only a few days left to purchase Nike Corona XC gear from BSN Sports. The store will close on the 30th of August, this Friday.
