Slight Change for tomorrow's meeting
Hi all!
We are changing the start time of our meeting tomorrow to 6:15. We still will be meeting by the track!
ALL XC Athletes need to go to the main gym and check in with the trainer to get their temp checked (District Policy). Face masks are required! The change in time is due to a conflict with Freshman Football. See you tomorrow!
Any questions, please contact us.

Plan for next week
Unfortunately, due to the spike in Covid we still can’t practice next week. However, Coach Smith and I have a plan. We are going to meet with all of the cross country athletes (that are available) this coming Thursday at 6:00 p.m. We will meet on campus by the track All athletes will need to get their temperature taken by the training staff in order to meet with us. Masks are required.
We are going to be setting up peer work out groups. This is not required but highly suggested. It is up to parent discretion whether they want their child to participate in these workouts with other athletes on the team. Please attend if you can, we will be socially distancing. Please make sure you leave immediately after our meeting and do not hang around campus. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

Summer Strength Training
Thanks to Coach Mundt (you all will meet her soon!) Here is a strength workout for summer. We would like all XC athletes to follow this program starting tomorrow. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Summer Training Update!
Hello all, I wish we had better news, but Summer Training is postponed another week. We are now hoping to start on Monday June 22nd.
Obviously, this is very frustrating, but we have to follow the rules that the Tempe Union provides.
At this point, we will be week-to-week and we will be updating our plans the second we receive information from the District.
Coach TAC and Coach Crane are offering online specific training for individuals. If an athlete is interested in asking questions about their current training, creating a training plan or anything specific to their training, please contact us! Coach TAC will help the Boys and Coach Crane will help the Girls.
Coach TAC: psmith@tuhsd.k12.az.us
Coach Crane: sdaztecs92115@yahoo.com
All Athletes should be running at this point. Please make sure you are taking time to do so. We do not want any injuries when we start as a group.
